Emergency medicine day CME

The Introductory talk was on History and Scope of emergency medicine done by Dr. Murtuza Ghiya, who is the 4th batch of M.D Emergency Medicine from India. Understanding the scope of Emergency Medicine was important for interns who are likely to take up post graduate training in the specialty. 

This was followed by a Heartfelt discussion on Emergency Nursing by Emergency Nursing In-Charge, S.N Dhanashree Gawade. She gave us fresh perspectives as rarely nursing opinions are solicited . 

Dr. Mayur Mewada, Consultant physician then gave a very practical discussion on stress in the Hospital setting, particularly Emergency Medicine and ICU. It was talk full of humor and subtle suggestions at taking control of our own stress as frontliners. 

The event was concluded by Dr. Gunjan Chanchalani, Chief Intensivist Who conducted a fantastic wellness quiz on behalf of Codeblu Holistic Wellness Solutions. The quiz made all medical professionals think about their own wellness while also focussing on patients. 

 We hope this event will help in furthering the cause of academic emergency medicine.
