    Overview:

    An Application Support Engineer is an IT professional who provides technical support regarding a spectrum of software used within a specific business sector. Responsible for managing the resolution of application and system issues that arise across a business.

    The Application Support Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, documentation and change request testing.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Understanding and experience with Hospital Information System (HIS), Patient Administration, and Clinical Information Systems

  • Performing analyses on software application functionality and suggesting improvements. Consulting with the software development team, partners / vendors and internal users to improve application performance

  • Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the Senior members with incident reports. Identify Potential Issues: foresight to anticipate and address potential issues before they become issues

  • Keeping record of configuration changes, scheduling application updates, preparing maintenance plans. Maintaining and updating technical documents and procedures

  • Onboard New Users: ensuring new users of an application have a smooth on boarding process. Delivering regular and customized training to teams

  • Problem Solve and Troubleshoot: First line of defence in finding the root causes of an application malfunction and provide necessary support to resolve them

  • Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards.

  • Managing ticketed query systems

  • Assisting with systems integrations

  • Liaise with all users in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed

  • A proactive approach to improving levels of service wherever possible

  • Good Interpersonal & Communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Working knowledge of SQL databases researches and resolves issues by understanding simple to complex queries against databases

  • Learn & Adapt new technologies which will benefit to enhance organization operations

  • Ability to learn and master employer‐specific software's, ability to diagnose and address

  • Hands on with web hosted application setup

  • Complex problem solving, providing the estimates of effort

  • Desired Candidate Profile

     

    Experience - 3 years to 4 years

    Qualification - Degree/Diploma In IT, MCA/ BCA/B.Tech

     

    Other skill sets :

  • Rolled out minimum one HMS as core member

  • Good communications skills in English and Hindi are must.

  • Able to work in shifts

  • Should be a good team member

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills
